On Saturday 28th December 2013 at 15.35 hours , WCRR CRBI Unit was tasked by Waterford Gardai to assist in a search for a missing person who was in a distressed state. A search was carried out in the Cove Marina and Kings channel area by Rescue Boat and Rescue 117 . The missing person was found by Gardai and Unit was stood down at 17.15 hours and returned to Base.
